Short lessons in a set order. Each module ends with a small practice flag, so you know the idea clicked before moving on.
File-based puzzles you download and solve on your own machine. Open around the clock, from beginner to insane.
Students, professionals and hobbyists are all welcome to teach. Share what you know with people who are where you once were.
Events are optional. When we run one, it adds a clock and an event scoreboard on top of everything above.
We are starting with file and static challenges. Machine-based categories arrive together with our tunnel system.
Choose how you want to be counted. You can change your mind later.
Every solve counts for you alone. You appear on the Solo board and on the All board next to teams.
Teams hold up to 25 members. You can be in one team at a time and switch teams whenever you need to.
These rules apply to everyone, in practice and in events.
One account per person and one team at a time. Accounts we find playing from more than one place are restricted.
If we trace a shared flag during an event, the team that used it can be banned, and so can the team that shared it.
When a leak is confirmed, we publish who shared the flag.
Shared flags and duplicate accounts are removed from every board.

Universities, clubs and teams can host an event at their own address. Keep machine challenges on your own servers and let CTF-ORION handle registration, flags and the scoreboard.
