teach

Teach what you know

One lesson, a few challenges or an hour with a beginner. Everyone is welcome.

Ways to teach

Pick what suits your time and your skills. Every contribution stays free for learners.

Write lessons

A single module or a whole learning path, written with our lesson template and practice flags.

Build challenges

File and static challenges for practice, or a set for an event. We help with testing and difficulty.

Mentor beginners

Answer questions, review writeups and help people get unstuck without handing over flags.

Translate

Bring lessons into Bangla and other languages so more people can learn in the language they think in.

Everybody is welcome to teach

You don't need a job title or a certificate. If you understand something well enough to explain it clearly, that is enough. Reviewers help shape every lesson before it goes live.

What teachers get

Credit on everything

Your name and profile appear on every lesson and challenge you publish.

Review and support

Each submission gets a reviewer who helps with clarity, accuracy and difficulty.

Wide reach

Your work stays open to every learner on CTF-ORION, today and later.

From idea to published

The same process for lessons and challenges.

  1. Apply

Tell us what you want to teach and share something you've written or built before, if you have it.

  2. Draft

Use our lesson or challenge template. Every lesson ends with a practice flag.

  3. Review

A reviewer test-solves and checks the content. You get clear notes, not a yes or no.

  4. Publish

It goes live with your name on it, free for everyone.

Content guidelines

These keep lessons useful and keep learners safe.

  • Your own workOriginal lessons and challenges, or material you have permission to use.
  • Fictional targetsOSINT and investigation tasks use made-up people and organisations only.
  • Test-solvedEvery challenge is solved by a reviewer before it is published.
  • No live flags in lessonsLessons teach the method. They never give away flags from event or practice challenges.
