What your event gets

The same platform we use for our own events, under your name.

Your own event page

Name, logo, rules, schedule and sponsors at ctforion.com/your-org.

Event scoreboards

All, teams and solo boards for your event, separate from the main boards.

Cheat checks included

Unique flags per team and flag-sharing detection, with the same penalties as our own events.

Post-event report

Solve counts, first bloods and participation numbers once the event closes.

Three ways to host challenges

Pick what fits your challenges and how much infrastructure you want to run.

available

Files on CTF-ORION

Static and file challenges uploaded to us. Nothing for you to run. This is how most events start today.

available

Your own machines

Keep machine challenges on your own servers. The main CTF (accounts, flags and scoring) stays on CTF-ORION for extra security.

soon

CTF-ORION tunnels

A tunnelling system that connects your private boxes to players without exposing your servers directly. Documentation is being written now.

Who runs what

Your challenge servers never hold player accounts or the flag database. Everything that decides a score lives on CTF-ORION, so even if a challenge box breaks during the event, scoring keeps working.

Until tunnels launch, players reach your machines on addresses you publish on your event page.

CTF-ORION runs

  • Registration, teams and team limits
  • Flag checking with unique flags per team
  • Event scoreboards and the final freeze
  • Flag-sharing and multi-account checks

You run

  • Challenge design and testing
  • Machine challenges on your own servers
  • Announcements, hints and support
  • Prizes and your event's own rules

From proposal to prize-giving

What happens after you send the form below.

  1. Send a proposal

Tell us who you are, when you want to run, and what kind of challenges you have.

  2. Review and setup

We confirm the details, reserve your address and give you organiser access.

  3. Run the event

You manage challenges and announcements. We keep the platform up and watch for cheating.

  4. Wrap up
